While I like this section of the website because of its content, I think it suffers from a lack of micro-whitespace.
There's a lot of text here; after all, it is a biography. However, the text and leading are very small. The tracking is decent, but mixed with the general lack of whitespace in the text, it all feels very crowded and is difficult to read.
Reading this for an extended period of time has the potential to create headaches. Thus I would say that this type feels very small.
Digging even deeper, I would suggest that the overall width of the text-area should be decreased. This would add macro-whitespace on the right column, and I think that would help to give the text a bit more breathing room. I strongly recommend that this be done in conjunction with an increase in leading and a slight increase in point size for maximum benefit.
